Scott A. Siler, age 55, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at his home in Lafayette. Scott was born December 10, 1965 in Lafayette, Indiana, the son of Robert and Barbara (Culver) Siler. Scott was employed by Purdue University. He enjoyed spending time outdoors mushroom hunting. Scott was very proud of his two sons. He was an Army Veteran, and served in Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait during “Operation Desert Sheild/Desert Storm. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He is survived by his sons Cole and Chad Siler of Frankfort, Indiana; his father Robert Siler [step mom Shirley] of Frankfort, Indiana; his mother Barbara Westerhausen of Lafayette; brother David Siler [wife Linda] of Osage Beach, Missouri; brother Brian Siler [wife Lori] of Lafayette; Step-brother Daryl Droke [wife Peggy] of Michigan town, Indiana; and Step-sister Tammy Allen [husband Mark] of Kirklin, Indiana.
Scott was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Fred Siler and Myrtle Bogus; and his maternal grandparents Oliver and Helen Culver.
A Celebration of Life service will be help Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens at 11:00am. Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
