Patricia Gertrude Flores Shuck, 76, of West Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on January 1, 2024 at IU Arnett Hospital, in Lafayette, Indiana. She was born on January 14, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Joe and Carmen (Randolph) Flores. Patricia was a loving and giving person who always would put friends and her family first before anything else. She loved to learn and practice the Word of the Lord and her goodness and selflessness was reflective of putting others first and doing what she could for those around her and bringing joy to her family and friends. Her passion was to spend time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patricia was also lover of many things: reading, good Mexican food-especially ordering the Tex Mex platter from Christos in West Lafayette. She also enjoyed a good burger and fries, flowers, nature, driving, science fiction and action movies, journaling, shopping, going to parks, cooking shows, and a lover of all different kinds of music. She loved to take pictures. However, she was famous for telling everyone that she hated having her picture taken. There are actually pictures of her blocking the camera as far back as 40 years ago, but she loved taking pictures and often carried a camera around with her.
Patricia is survived by her four children: Sandy Shuck, Lolita Whitus Shuck, Bonita Shuck, and Mike Shuck. Grandchildren: Angie Gard, Renee Winkler, Dillon Shuck, Regina Alfson, Jessica Whitus, Aaron Whitus, Kyle Shuck, Danielle Sharpe, Brooke Todd. Great Grandchildren: Ezekiel, Eve, Eli, Wednesday and Kimura. Sisters Olga and Rachel and brother Joe and son-in-law Mitch Alfson. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Carmen (Randolph) Flores, James Shuck, brother Frankie, son-in-law Rick Whitus,
