I was so saddened to hear about David Joe’s passing. He was the sweetest guy and always so appreciative.
I Enjoyed the time him and I spent together when he would come to see me at my work. My heart goes out to the family. It so very hard. 💜🙏🏼
David Joe Wierenga, Jr., 50, passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 23, 2021. David was born, October 21, 1970, in Lafayette, IN, to David Joe Wierenga, Sr. and Nancy (Smith) Allen. David found many joys in life, he loved camping, fishing, searching for antiques, working on cars especially his 2012 Chevy Cruze, watching the Colts and Purdue games, and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and his family. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle Wierenga; his son-in-law, Dylan gill; and step-daughter, Sasha Butler; grandchildren, Jace, Aidan, and Ava gill; sister, Sandra (Phil) Cox; brother, Shane (Jamie) Wierenga; sister, Lacey Williford; step-father, Danny Allen; and close family friend, Sean Hillsabeck. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Wierenga. Services are pending a later date and time. Online condolences can be left to the family at www.tippecanoememorygardens.com.
