Cecil “Dale” Foltz, 86 of Lafayette passed away at 3:45pm Saturday February 4,2023 at IU Arnett Hospital. He was born October 24,1936 at Blanford, IN to the late Leroy F. and Grace V. Beard Foltz. Cecil was married to Sally Stinebaugh on December 10 1955 and she passed on March 31 2011. He an electrician for Ron Brummett Electric and was proud of the many commercial projects he worked on in the Lafayette area. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1529 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #347. He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, baking, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his companion Sandra Miller, his children Brian (Sandra) Foltz of Lafayette, Jeffery (Patricia) Foltz of West Lafayette, Lori (Michael) Crider of Lafayette, and Kelli Bickers (companion Gary) of Lafayette, Scott (Beth) Marion of Lafayette, and Todd (Shar) Marion of Lafayette, a brother Kenneth (Carolyn) Foltz of Mason, OH, and a sister Jennifer (Doug) Stutzman of Nappanee, IN, 22 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, one sister and one grandchild.
Friends may call from noon until 2pm Friday in the chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, where services will be held at 2pm with Pastor Eddie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Mooseheart in Cecil’s memory.
