Wally, my dear husband, I miss you so much already. I’m so sorry you had a rough last year, but you fought the good fight! 😢 We spent 23 years together with laughter, music, travel, great food and the love of our family ,especially our grandchildren, not to forget our babies Sasha and Brie Brie who are wagging their tails to see you in Heaven😢. Thank you for the fun times we had and even the sad times. I know Buscia is holding you in her arms!! I remember your saying “Baby I’m not here for a long time, just a good time”! Until we meet again my Sir Wallace, You will always be in my heart.
    Love your wife,
    Yvonneska

To a special Man who I had the opportunity and privilege to know. “The Wallace” was a true friend and always a delight to have in my company. His humor was welcomed by all and turned countless frowns into smiles. Always a good word from him whenever we spoke and never any negativity, Wally was someone who took his life’s service seriously from within – this was always clear to the discerning observer. May he rest in eternal peace and may his memory live on forever. Shallom my dear friend!

Wallace Wiejak, 77, passed away from the loving arms of his family on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Wallace was born in Germany, on September 7, 1946, the son of Wallace and Christine Wiejak. He spent his life dedicated to his craft as a pipefitter, retiring from Local 597 in Chicago, IL.

Wallace’s passion for baseball led him to not only coach but also to play during his younger years. Although golfing might not have been his forte, he found joy in the game.

Among his greatest treasures were his beloved dogs Sasha and Brie Brie, who met him in Heaven with wagging tails. Above all else, Wally’s heart overflowed with love for his family.
