Shon was such a sweet person! He came down to be with me and my family when I lost my son, daughter and father. I’ll never forget that. He’ll be greatly missed.
I was a good friend of Shon! We golfed together regularly, and he will always be in our memories!
Our prayers and condolences go out to his family during this tough season! He was truly a blessing to us all! He will be missed dearly!
Shon, although it’s been years, you have never been forgotten. You were like a brother to my roommates and I back at Purdue. You always made us laugh and were always there for us. You are a huge loss for all those you came across in your path. Rest In Peace old friend.
I can’t even say enough about growing up as one of the Hanna kids together. We were family above what the definition holds. I love you Shon. I have been gone for years, but I still see your smile as if it were yesterday. I remember you always having the cleanest car I’ve seen, and your wit couldn’t be matched. If you meet my son Ty up there, keep him close and tell him all the stories about us Lafayette kids. Rest easy baby boy!!
We want to express our deepest condolences for your loss.
The legacy of Shon C. Barr will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Our sincere sympathy,

Condolences to Shon’s Family and Friends,
I volunteered on the Purdue golf courses with Shon on Sunday mornings and enjoyed his company, thoughts and our conversations. He was a gentleman and full of “common sense”. I will miss him. R.I.P. Shon!
Shon was one of the funniest people I know. I always looked forward to hearing him “talk mess” to me when seeing him. He had a million dollar smile that would light up any room. I am sad, but I know he is OK and I will see him once again. He has probably hit up the most beautiful golf coarse with my brother in law up there in Heaven. Karen, LC and family, Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Shon had so much love for you all. I love you Shon Barr! Rest in peace my friend!
I worked with Shon at the Purdue golf courses and even though he was so sick this past season, he showed up with a smile on his face and a warm greeting for everyone. Shon was a wonderful young man and I will miss him. RIP Shon…you deserve the best seat in heaven.
