    Renee and I have been great friends since school. I have so many wonderful memories with her. Just real quick one time I was there with the twins Renee, Rhonda and we washed there dads (Doug) semi truck. OMG we was soaked spraying water at eachother. We had a lot of fun times!!!
    We have laughed,cried,yelled at each other but at the end of the day we always loved each other!! I will miss you so much Renee I LOVE you forever and always. Rest easy im so happy that your happy and free no anger, no depression, no pain!!! XOXOXo

Renee Lynn Metheny, 45, of Earl Park, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Franciscan Health Hospital in Lafayette, IN.

She was born on September 15, 1977, in Michigan City, IN, the daughter of Terry Ann Metheny, and Douglas Arland Metheny.

Renee had many joys in life. She enjoyed music, crafting, shopping, being silly to make people laugh, and spending time with her family.

She had a contagious smile, big heart and would help anyone without a question.

Above all, she loved her children unconditionally and will be missed terribly.

In addition to her mother, Terry Ann Metheny, Renee was survived by her children, Jolene Uran, Olivia Uran, Adrian Uran, and Frankie Uran of DeMotte, IN; and Mitchell Foster, Jason Foster, Heidi Foster of Boswell, IN; as well as son, Jordan Metheny of Raub, IN;  her siblings, Shane Voglund (Tony) of Kentland, IN, Shawn Fording (Kevin) of Otterbein, IN, Rhonda Metheny of Lafayette, IN, and Doug Metheny, Jr.(Ashton) of Fresno, OH; and her four grandchildren, whom she loved very much.

Renee is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Arlan Metheny

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, January 8, 2022, with visitation from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Services will be held 5:00 p.m. following visitation. Memorial contributions may be made in Renee’s memory, to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses or to a homeless shelter of the donor’s choice.
