Paul E. Deck Jr, 66, of Lafayette, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at Franciscan Health East. He was born April 28, 1955, in Lafayette and honroably served in the Army.
Paul owned Paul’s Window Cleaning and had also worked for Alford’s Tree Service.
He was a member of Eagles Lodge #347.
Paul enjoyed Professional Wrestling, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, bonfires, pitching horseshoes and working on cars. Music was a huge part of Paul’s life from playing guitar, singing and writing songs, one of which was produced, to playing music and singing with family and friends.
Surviving are his father, Paul E. Deck, Sr. of Lafayette, children, Paul E. (Roxanne) Deck, III of Lafayette, Melissa (Michael) Miller of Mishawaka, daughter, Nicole (Michael) Bell and son, Evan (LeAnne) Ledman both of Lafayette, four sisters, Tina (Travis) Craft, Sherrie (Tim) Simpson, Tana Owens all of Lafayette and Pam (Mike) Neal of Hillsboro, two brothers, Greg Deck of Monticello, and Mike Deck. Also surviving are Fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Violet May Crider Strong, a daughter, Krystal Durrant and a brother, Gordon Deck.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 22, 2021 in the Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette followed by a short graveside ceremony.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
