Mary Michele (Montgomery) Burdine, 54, passed away on March 11, 2022, at Franciscan Health in Lafayette, IN. Michele was born on August 12, 1967, in Monticello, IL, and raised by her mother, Evelyn Louise (Hinton) Bowlin and step-father, Duane Bowlin. After completing her education, she worked for much of her life as a registered nurse and enjoyed being able to care for others. She married her husband, Scott Burdine on January 22, 2016 in Lafayette, IN. Together they enjoyed over six years, by each otherā€™s side and watching their family grow.
Michele had a big heart and had a natural artistic talent for any crafty project she touched. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cross-stitching, painting, was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan, caring for others, as well as spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she all loved very much.

In addition to her mother and step-father, MicheleĀ is survived by her husband, Scott Burdine; son, Kurt (Holly) Boehle; daughter, Katie (Corey) Isaac; son, Jonathan Fritz; Ā her step-children, Danielle Carr, Eric Burdine, and Dustin (Kerrin) Burdine; her eleven grandchildren; her brother, Tom Montgomery; and step-father, Duane Bowlin.
She was preceded in death by her father, as well as her mother-in-law, Patricia Burdine.
