Kenneth A. Miller passed away Sept. 24, 2021, in Lafayette, IN, at 2:18 p.m., at Franciscan Hospital. Kenneth was born Jan. 18, 1930, in Wadena, IN, to the late Adrian and Thelma (Lewellyn) Miller.
He graduated in 1948 from Battle Ground High School. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, serving most of his time in Fort Riley Kansas.
On December 31, 1953, he married Mary Kathleen Fife at Saint Joseph Church in Delphi, IN. He retired from Purdue in 1992.
Surviving are his wife and son, Douglas Miller of West Lafayette, IN; daughter, Karen (Patrick) Flood of Hendersonville, TN; daughter, Marlene Miller of Battle Ground, IN; also surviving are his grandchildren, Christine Flood of Boston, MA, Catherine Flood of Jackson, IN, and Mathew Flood of Little Rock, AR. He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Edgell.
Visitation for Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Funeral Chapel with funeral services to follow immediately thereafter at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth’s memory to the Tippecanoe Township Volunteer Fire Department. Online condolences can be left to the family at www.tippecanoememorygardens.com.
