James Gerald Brown

James Gerald Brown, 81, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Rosewalk Village of Lafayette, IN. James was born Fowler, Indiana on November 17, 1942, to the late Edgar and Pearl (Terrell) Brown. James served his Country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He worked maintenance at Lafayette Sani-Wash for 17 years before retiring in 2005. James was a talented woodworker and designed and made several pieces of furniture for his home and children. His other love was working on his house and landscaping, as well spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed as a loving father, brother, grandfather and dear friend.
James is survived by his sons; Jeremiah (Nicole) Brown of Lafayette, IN, Nicholas Brown of Delphi, IN, James (Kelly) Brown of Orlando, FL. brother Robert (Karen) Brown of Dayton, IN and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sisters Betty and Barbara Ann.
Graveside services for James is scheduled for Friday, December 15 th at 11:00 AM at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W. 350 North, West Lafayette, Indiana 47906, with the United States Marine Corps performing Military Honors.
