Alvin A. Conner, Jr.

Alvin A. Conner, Jr., 78, passed away surrounded by his family on January 14, 2022. Al was born to Alvin A. Conner, Sr. and Mildred (Barton) Conner on Dec. 6^th, 1943. Al loved to hunt mushrooms and go fishing. Al served in the United States  Air Force (1962 – 1968). Al married Irene (Weist) Conner on May 3^rd, 1968. Al retired from Lafayette Warehouse after 38 years.
Al is survived by his wife, Irene; daughter, Mary Anne McGlothlin; and son, Jay Conner; also 5 grandchildren, Adam Paul; twins, Nick and Nicole McGlothlin; as well as Rachel and Dillen Conner.
Al was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Kay Wolf; and brother, John Conner. A private graveside service for the immediate family only will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN, with military honors by the American Legion Post 11. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Al’s memory to a charitable organization of the donor’s choice. The family wishes to thank Elara Caring Hospice for doing a great job of caring for Al.
